Modern Delhi International School buzzed with enthusiasm as the students of Classes 2 & 3 presented their grand annual showcase, Jumanji – The Quest for the Wild on the 13th and 14th November 2025. Nearly 600 young performers mesmerised the audience with expressive acting, synchronised choreography and a strong message on respecting and protecting nature. The school proudly welcomed Chief Guests, Dr. Neha Kumar, Senior Consultant and Robotic Surgeon, Gynecologic Oncology, Amrita Hospital, and Dr. Neena Khanna, Head of Dermatology, Amrita Hospital. Both addressed the gathering with inspiring words that encouraged children to nurture creativity and courage. Dr U.S. Verma, the Director Principal congratulated the young learners for their remarkable effort and commended the teachers for their meticulous planning and guidance. The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, followed by the National Anthem, marking a memorable celebration of teamwork, talent and the vibrant spirit of MDIS.
Brimming with excitement and youthful energy, the Annual Presentation of Class I unveiled the multifarious talents of the young learners. The occasion was graced by the Chief Guest, Dr. Shaloo Garg, Professor & Senior Consultant, Anesthesiology, Amrita Hospital, Greater Faridabad. The ceremony commenced with lamp lighting, invocation, and a heartfelt Welcome Address by our Director Principal sir, who motivated the audience to nurture creativity, celebrate culture and encourage the children to dream big. The highlight of the programme was the delightful musical presentation: Akbar Ke Birbal – The Tales of Wonder, where children brought alive four timeless stories with wit, humour and wisdom. From kings and ministers to farmers and apsaras, the little performers enjoyed living their favourite roles. The joyous extravaganza celebrated Indian folklore while teaching values of intelligence, kindness and clever thinking. The event culminated with the  Vote of Thanks proposed by Reyansh Bhar and Amayra Pal from Class I followed by the National Anthem.
The 18th Investiture Ceremony at Modern Delhi International School, Sector 87, was a joyous celebration graced by parents, grandparents, and a galaxy of distinguished guests. The formal induction of 277 school appointees of Classes II to XII into the Student Council for the academic session 2025–26 was witnessed with immense pride. Following the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, the event commenced with a serene Saraswati Vandana, invoking divine blessings. In his welcome address, the Director Principal, Dr. U.S. Verma emphasised how empathy, compassion and resilience pave the path to meaningful leadership. As the young contingents of the six houses marched in harmony during the symbolic Flag Ceremony, the Assembly area resounded with mirth and cheer. The appointees were decorated with sashes and badges by the Chief Guest and the dignitaries amidst a wave of enthusiastic applause. The thought-provoking stage adaptation of Monica Thorne’s The King Who Limped shed light on the importance of truth over flattery. The cultural programme culminated with Rhythms of Bharat, a vibrant group dance that held the audience spellbound by its seamless synergy. Commending the young leaders, the Chief Guest encouraged them to lead with integrity and courage in his address. The heartfelt vote of thanks by the Head Boy and Head Girl preceded the National Anthem—a powerful choral conclusion evoking deep pride and unity.
Awareness Sessions on AI
On the occasion of AI Appreciation Day, special awareness sessions on Artificial Intelligence were conducted by the Dept. of Computer Science for the students of Classes VI to VIII. The sessions aimed to introduce the young minds to how AI powers tools like Alexa, Google Maps and YouTube recommendations could modify everyday lives. The seasoned mentors also explored the risks of AI misuse, including deepfakes, fake news and cyber fraud. Practical safety tips were shared among the conscientious learners to help them embrace the innovation with caution. Ms Madhu Malik, the Vice Principal, urged the students to be mindful in their actions and stay digitally alert. Lauding the profound insights offered, Dr U.S. Verma, the Director Principal, inspired all to use AI responsibly, guided by human wisdom and values.
The school campus buzzed with excitement and pride as the exuberant learners unveiled their creative holiday homework projects at the much-awaited exhibition—Learning Beyond The Bell. The event showcased a vibrant spectrum of student-work from Pre-Primary to Class VIII, celebrating curiosity, creativity and concept clarity. The displays spanned various subjects, with several aligned to the Sustainable Development Goals, and an exclusive corner dedicated to innovations from the in-house ATL lab. Dr U.S. Verma, Director Principal, appreciated the effort and enthusiasm of the diligent minds as he interacted with them at the Seminar and Multipurpose Hall. Ms Madhu Malik, Vice Principal, commended the effusive hearts for their insightful presentations and confident articulation. The parents were fascinated to witness these outstanding specimens of art and learning that beautifully reflected how academic concepts could be brought to life through imagination and hands-on exploration.
The budding Mathletes of Classes 6 & 7 put their critical thinking and problem solving skills to test by participating in an exciting Mathematics Quiz organised by the Dept. of Maths. Eight in-house teams of diligent scholars set the stage on fire with their razor sharp acumen for numbers as they battled each other in a game of sparkling intelligence through five engaging rounds- Definition Round, Guess Who, Every day Mathematics, Puzzle & Rapid Fire. The audience cheered aloud for their team mates as they cracked the questions within the prescribed time limit through adequate team cooperation. Besides enhancing their inquisitive spirit, the event aimed to help the learners build their confidence, expand their horizon of knowledge and delve into their passion for the subject. Lauding the enthusiastic participation, Dr. Udai Verma, the Director Principal inspired the jubilant hearts to continue on their quest of learning new concepts with unparalleled fervour. Congratulating the brilliant efforts of the Dept. of Maths, Ms. Madhu Malik, the Vice Principal encouraged the children to be the truth seekers.
