Modern Delhi International School Faridabad started its Odyssey on 10th July, 1995, with 640 students sans infrastructure and became a seat of excellence for the pupils of the industrial city of Faridabad in a remarkably short time span. Housed initially in three rented buildings, the school was shifted to its own magnificent building with state-of-the-art infrastructure, within a record time of 10 months. The school, in its short career, accomplished many remarkable feats on the curricular and co-curricular front, and was considered as a precious jewel in the crown of Delhi Public School Society. During my tenure, Dipsites staged mega productions like Aahvaan, Chanakya, Sangharsh, Azadi. Ably guided, brilliant and confident students of DPS, Faridabad proved that they not only were intellectually sharp but also talented in culture and theatre.
After a successful tenure in DPS, Faridabad till April 2005, it was my passionate zeal and great desire to establish one more educational venture of higher standards and superior quality and henceforth a new educational paradigm, Modern Delhi International School, Faridabad, came into existence.
On the auspicious morning of 3rd April, 2006 alongwith 150 students and 15 teachers, Modern Delhi International School commenced its inaugural session in the same Govt. School building at Sector 21-C, where Delhi Public School, Faridabad started its journey 10 years back i.e. 10th July, 1995.
Modern Delhi International School, Sector 87 stands tall and proud having come a long way over the last thirteen years of its existence. It has built a reputation for itself, few can match. The school has taken giant strides and is the most sought after school in the industrial city of Faridabad. Our students have done us proud by reaching unprecedented heights. They have been successful at all levels and in all the fields, be it academics, sports or co-curricular. Constant and consistent effort of our students are yielding unparalleled results, year after year. They have been doing exceedingly well in Board Exams and other competitive exams of international and national repute like IIT-JEE, AIIMS, NEET, KVPY, RMO, NTSE, NSEJS, Aryabhatta and other Olympiads. All this could be achieved through the untiring efforts of my dedicated team of teachers, ever supportive and cooperative parents and conscientious and laborious students. I offer my heartfelt thanks to the parents who have reposed their unflinching faith in me and my system.
On the popular demand of parents’ community, Modern Delhi International School, Sector 87 has carried forward its rich legacy of excellence by extending its window and opening Modern Delhi International School – II, Sector 89 in the year 2017. Today, Modern Delhi International School, Sector 89 is synonymous with success because we seize every opportunity and work earnestly with single minded approach towards its fulfilment. I am always thankful to the Almighty for his kindness to me and further giving me the strength to be a catalyst in the culture of healthy competition in the field of education. Perhaps I am the only Principal who is the founder of three leading public schools of national repute, that too, in the same city.
My heart swells with pride when I see the proud Modern Dipsites of Modern Delhi International School, Sector 87 and Sector 89 armoured with shields and trophies, all set and geared to face the real world challenges.
Education at Modern Delhi International School is not merely training of minds, its purpose is not to produce more scholars, but integrated men and women- for only between such human beings can there be enduring peace and success.
In today’s world, full of strife, stress and conflict, it is education alone that can serve as a beacon to humanity.
